Dr. Marlene Merritt has a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine, and two Masters degrees in Oriental Medicine and in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Merritt is also a Certified Nutrition Specialist. She is licensed by the New Mexico Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine. Additionally, she is a Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, is board certified in Bariatric Counseling, is trained as a specialist in the Keto diet by the American Nutrition Association, and is certified in the Bredesen Protocol™ for Cognitive Decline. As of 2019, she is a Proficiency Diplomate in the Shoemaker CIRS Protocol for treatment of mold-related illness.
